From the Box: "A strange disease reaching epidemic proportions is invading the English countryside where Peter Thompson practices. In desperation, Thompson seeks the help of his mentor, Sir James Forbes, who comes to his assistance in trying to make sense of the horrible plague. Amidst walking corpses, voodoo dolls, and empty graves, the two embark on an investigation that uncovers a ghastly secret and leads them to the shocking truth."

What You Get: A period piece with voodoo zombies and a basic misunderstanding of the concept of voodoo zombies.

Origin of Zombies: Voodoo caused death, voodoo caused resurrection

Zombie Killing Weapons of Choice: Shovel, (accidently) setting voodoo dolls on fire

The Goals: Find cause of odd deaths in village, stop the further creation of zombies, save Forbes' daughter from becoming a zombie

End Result: All zombies and zombie makers are either burned or crushed in mine

Zombie Rating: (voodoo zombie/undead, not flesh-eating zombie/undead)

Notes: Takes place in19th century Cornwall, England (1860)

Rich guy makes zombies in the name of making a buck (cheap mining labor)

Most classic zombie moment (being surrounded & approached by the living dead) was, sadly, just a dream sequence.
